How to connect Lovense Remote and set up partner control
There are two connections to think about: Bluetooth between your toy and your device, and the internet connection used for remote interaction. Get local control working first. This makes it easier to identify which connection needs attention if partner control does not work.

1. Pair inside Lovense Remote
Install Lovense Remote from an official download or app-store listing. Charge and switch on the toy, enable Bluetooth on your phone, and open the app. Use the connection icon, add a toy, and complete pairing there.
Lovense specifically instructs users to pair inside Remote rather than through the phone’s Bluetooth settings. If your phone asks for a Bluetooth pairing code, return to the app’s connection workflow.

2. Test local control before adding a partner
Keep the toy close to your device and confirm that the app can control it. Each toy can connect to only one device at a time, according to Lovense. If another phone is already connected, resolve that connection before retrying.
Treat local control as a checkpoint: if it does not work, adding a remote partner will not resolve the underlying pairing problem.

3. Choose how you want to share control
For account-based long-distance control, both people use separate accounts and add each other in the app. Both need an internet connection; the controlling partner does not need to own a toy.
Control Link is another option. Lovense’s guide places it under Discover: create a link, choose the toy and duration settings, then share it. Someone opening the link can control the selected toy without installing the app.

4. Know how to end access
For a single-use Control Link, the manufacturer’s instructions say to use End in its settings. For an unlimited link, End only ends the current session; use Delete to remove the link permanently.
Share a control link only with the intended person. Check the selected duration and repeat settings before sending it, and agree on how to stop. Do not post a private control link in a product review or support comment.

Work through one layer at a time: toy power, local Bluetooth pairing, local control, and then the remote connection.
